How does the free plan work?
Every new account starts with 7 days of Pro — unlimited words, no credit card. After that you keep a real free plan forever: 2,000 words a week on a rolling window (so your allowance refills continuously). Pro is there when you’re ready for unlimited words all day, your dictionary synced across every device, and new features first.
What counts as a “word”?
We count the words in the cleaned text Saytomo produces — the output you actually use — not your raw speech. Chinese and other CJK text is counted fairly, so it isn't penalized. Anything the assistant keys produce counts toward the same total.
What happens when I reach the limit?
Dictation pauses until your rolling 7-day total drops back under 2,000 words — or you can upgrade to Pro for unlimited use. Nothing is ever lost, and you're never hit with a surprise overage charge.
Monthly or annual?
Pro is $13/month, or $11/month billed annually ($132/year — save 15%). The features are identical either way; annual just costs less.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Billing runs through Stripe — cancel whenever you like and you keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for. No emails, no hoops.
What happens to my audio?
It's processed in the moment and never stored, on either plan. Transcripts aren't retained on our servers and your data is never used to train models. The full subprocessor list is on the privacy page.
