The script & caption

Talk the idea out the way you'd say it to camera. Saytomo strips the "um"s and false starts and lands a clean caption — faithful: it never invents a claim you didn't make.

Polish

Retune it per platform

A punchy line for the short video; a longer paragraph for the blog. Polish reshapes the same idea into clean prose — your meaning, claims, and facts kept exactly, never ballooned.

Translate

Caption it everywhere

Press Translate and your caption becomes natural target-language text in one step — across 40+ languages. Your @handles and brand names stay written the way they're written.

Ask

Five hooks, out loud

Stuck on the opener? Press Ask and say "give me five hook options." Variants stream into a floating panel — Copy or Insert the one that lands, then keep moving.

Ask · reply

Reply to the comments

Clear the comment queue fast without sounding like a bot. Speak the reply; it lands cleaned, at your cursor — and replacing a selection is sentinel-safe: it never overwrites your text on a guess.

Dictate · dictionary

Handles, spelled right

Add your handle, your collaborators, your brands, and your tools once. Say "made by maya" and it snaps to @madebymaya — exact, whole-word, every time.

The friction

The blank-caption problem.

You filmed the thing. Now comes the part that drains the day: writing it five different ways for five different feeds.

The blank caption box

The footage is done — but the cursor just blinks while you hunt for the words that make people stop scrolling.

Five feeds, five rewrites

The same idea has to become a Reel caption, a thread, a newsletter line, a title. Rewriting it by hand, every time, is the tax.

The comment backlog

Replies pile up, and answering them fast usually means answering them flat. Your real voice gets lost in the queue.

Only Saytomo

Your voice, on every feed.

The things that make a post sound like a person, not a template — and the ones a bilingual creator can't do without.

A voice per platform

One spoken idea, retuned for where it lands — punchy for the Reel, fuller for the blog. Set a tone per app once and Polish honors it, without rewriting what you mean.

Translate, faithfully

Caption into 40+ languages in one keypress — proper nouns, @handles, and brand names kept exactly as written, never machine-mangled. Reach a new feed without losing yourself.

Polish keeps YOUR meaning

It tightens the phrasing — clearer words, smoother flow — but never invents a claim, a stat, or a promise you didn't make. Bounded at ~1.5× length, so it never balloons.

Code-switch fidelity

這支 reel 的 hook 用 question 開場 stays verbatim — 中英不被翻. Borrowed words keep their language, so a bilingual caption sounds like you, not a translation.

Private by default

Your scripts and drafts are yours. Audio is processed in the moment and never stored; transcripts aren't retained server-side, and nothing you say is used to train a model.

Lands in every app

Text appears at your cursor in the caption box, the DM, the email, the doc — any Mac app with a text field. No copy-paste shuffle, no integration to install.

Works where you publish

Creator questions

The short answers.

Can it caption in lots of languages?
Yes — 40+ languages. Press the dedicated Translate key and your spoken caption becomes natural target-language text in one step, with your @handles, hashtags, and brand names kept exactly as written. And if you speak a 中英 mix, the default Dictate path keeps it mixed — 這支 reel 的 hook 用 question 開場 stays exactly that, never "smoothed" into one language.
Does Polish change what I meant?
No. Polish tightens how something is said — clearer words, smoother flow — but never changes what you said. It won't invent a claim, a statistic, or a promise you didn't make, and it's bounded at roughly 1.5× your length so it can't balloon. It also never translates: your language mix is preserved. If you want the faithful, word-for-word version instead, that's the default Dictate key.
Can I use a different voice for each platform?
Yes. You can set a tone — formal, neutral, or casual — globally or per app, and add free-text style notes (preferred phrasing, sentence length, your voice) that Polish and rewrites follow. So a punchy Reel caption and a fuller newsletter line come from the same spoken idea, each shaped for where it lands.
Is my content used to train models?
No. Audio is processed in the moment and never stored. Transcripts aren't retained on our servers, and nothing you say — scripts, drafts, replies — is used to train a model. When you use Ask on text you've selected, only that selected text is sent for that one request; nothing is read passively or in the background. The full subprocessor list is on the privacy page.
Is there a free plan?
Yes — 2,000 words a week on a rolling 7-day window, no credit card, free forever. If you want no weekly limit and unlimited assistant keys, Pro is $13/month (or $11/month billed annually). macOS 13+, Apple Silicon and Intel. See full details on the pricing page.
